Charlotte finally got up the nerve and out a hand on her Evie's shoulder. "Hey, let's get back." She compared her smaller frame to the two giants. "Do you need any help walking Alaric?"

Evie smiled, helping Alaric up, putting his arm around her shoulder. "You want to get his other side Charlotte?" She giggled, happy to have her friend back. "He's not that heavy, but I'm sure he'd love to be close to his friends."

Charlotte leaned down and propped him up on his other side. She did her best to search for something comforting. What came out felt funny. "You'll be alright Alaric. You're with us now." Despite her words, she wasn't entirely sold on it, especially considering the obscene amount of scars on his body. What could he have gone through on the other side? "Let's get moving."
