[Tetra]

Evie, who for some reason adores Charlotte, quickly engraved a rune onto her hammer and smashed down on the tendril, before it reached its target. "Smash!!"

Charlotte took a step back at Evie's sudden intervention. "Impressive reflexes." Like a magnet, bits of the tendril were pulled towards the book and disappeared. Charlotte pretended not to notice and turned her attention back to the woman. "Look, it's four on one. You just saw what my friend here did. We can talk this out. This doesn't have to be difficult."

[Tetra]

Evie smiled. "Thank you!!"

Multiple tendrils stretched outwards from behind her, and the one holding the now unconscious Adminius was pulled up to present him. "You were saying?"

[Nobody]

"Three on one, less favorable but still good." Ezra whipped a flaming sword into being. "I think we can DO this."

[Tetra]

Evie nodded, weilding her hammer. "I agree. We're unstoppable!!" She grinned.

[sunter]

Despite the confidence the group was exuding, she had beaten Adminius a multitude of times and gone toe to toe with alaric, if the story was to be believed. A thought occurred to her. "lokk, you've got some grudge against us, but you should probably avoid killing your son, wouldn't you agree?"

Multiple tendrils shot out and wrapped around Charlotte. She was yanked towards the woman who stared straight into her eyes. "I... Don't... Have.:. A SON!" The tendrils gripped tightly: constricting Charlotte

Evie scratched her head. "For a chick without a son, it sends a touchy subject for her" she made a mocking grrface.

[Nobody]

The sword's blade shot forward. Ezra's muscles bulged with the effort required to hold the weapon and himself in place. He yanked the blade up with a roar as it passed through the tendrils, ripping through them like butter.

[Tetra]

Evie said nothing, just stared at Ezra with a light flush. She noticed what she was doing then shook her head. "Awesome! Take that shadow mama!"

Charlotte dropped to the ground in front of her. "See? You really don't have a chance against us." She slashed down with her dagger, hoping that she wasn't too much like Antioch.

[LuciasFalkner]

There was a swift blast of wind, and the blade of the knife flipped to the ground. The woman's black 'Caladbolg' was held with the tip at Charlotte's neck. The shadowy aura now swirled violently, and she sent tendris forward, shoving both Charlotte and Ezra back into the snow.

[Tetra]

Evie stood there, ignored, and attacked the shadow at a great speed with her hammer. "Aaaaannnd smash!!"

[Nobody]

Ezra rolled to his feet next to Adminius' fallen sword. He picked it up and looked it over. "I've got no clue how to use this, but..." He flicked a flaming shield off his left arm. "It beats the alternative!"
