[Tetra]

As Ezra began his little stunt, be was stopped by the circus ringmaster.
"Just what to Do you think you're doing??"

[Nobody]

"Juggling, mainly. Running away from shadow people. You know, clown stuff." He spat another fireball into his hand, smoking rock falling from his mouth.

[Tetra]

The ringmaster didn't seem to impressed. He glared, feeling mocked and called loudly for someone.
Not to much later a Evie ran up.
"Oh hello ringmaster. Must you always call me for your dirtywork?" She looked at Ezra, giggled at what he was doing and then looked back at her "boss". "Oh I quit by the way. Maybe he can take my place. Can you dance fiery clown of humor and doom?" And while saying everything, she was smiling sincerely.

[Nobody]

He pedaled backwards and stood on one foot, balancing precariously. He dropped his arms and the fireballs continued spinning in their rotations. He waggled his arms.

[Tetra]

Evie stared with a huge smile and said plainly with so sarcasm. "He's perfect!!"

The ringmaster didn't look pleased.

A hand made of a shadow-like substance slowly pulled its way out of the ground. It stretched itself upward, almost matching the height of the unicycle, and swept the cycle out from under Ezra, grabbing his ankle as he fell. It began to drag him back into an alley

[Tetra]

Evies eyes widen liking looking shocked and the ringmaster ran. Evie dashed after him grabbing his hands abd digging get heels into the ground activating her wrist runes for strength, hoping to stop him.
"I got you pretty boy!"

Shadowy tendrils wrapped around Evie's waste and yanked her up, inadvertently taking Ezra with her. The figure that Ezra day earlier slowly stretched out if the shadows. The black cloak and dark bangs blocked out its face, and it held a blade similar in appearance to Caladbolg, except it was pure black and flowed with the same shadowy substance.

[Nobody]

Ezra squealed in horror. -Heights. Ack.- He started to flail around wildly. Fire flew from his hands and cut into the shadow, sizzling.

[Tetra]

Evie, although a bit freaked herself, saw his panic and pulled him up, hugging him. "It's okay little buddy I got cha." She tried to think of a way out. "ALARIC!! HEEEEELLLP!!!"

[Nobody]

Alaric heard Evie and another girl scream. In an instant his blade was in hand. He rushed toward the source as Ezra gushed flame into the air. His heart began to pump wildly at the sight of the shadow mass, and every rune in him cried out, almost in fury. But part of him, small and dark, shrieked with glee.

[Tetra]

Evie smiled when she saw Alaric, holding onto Ezra the best she could. "Oh yay! We're saved! Shine dive light on this for me?" She giggled at her joke.

[LuciasFalkner]

Adminius rushed out with Aoife close behind. The figure turned to the three newcomers, but it seemed to focus on Adminius and Aoife in particular. The tendrils that held Evie and Ezra pinned them to the ground, and the figure began walking towards the other three

[Tetra]

Evie let it a little shriek of pain at suddenly being slammed into the ground. "Ow...that wasn't nice." She found herself pinned on ezra. "Oh....hi." She smiled like nothing was happening.

[Nobody]

Ezra grinned uncertainly. "Oh, well. This is a day full of surprises, unwelcome and great bo-" He shut up as the tendrils squeezed him.

Alaric felt something surge within himself. He thrust an arm out and the shadows halted. Unthinking, illogical rage crested over him like a wave.
You harm my friends.
You dare attack us?
Here? In the center of all I hold holy?
Unknown to him, black momentarily washed over his eyes, bleaching the irises to a sickly yellow. The shadows turned and raced toward their master.
