Charlotte could feel Her heart begin to race in her chest. Hollow wasn't a word for Alaric. "It's- it's fine Evie." She left the blankets on him, hoping to muffle it's voice. "I don't like the sound of this though. If what it says is true, this could be far more dangerous than I first anticipated."

She remained silent for a moment, considering as many possibilities as she could before finally coming to a conclusion. "I'm still going. This possibility wasn't entirely unforeseen, though it may be more dangerous than I had first thought." She looked up at Evie. "What you SHOULD do is return to the castle and the others where you'll be safest, but you're not going to do that, are you?" There was a touch of amusement in her voice.
