Evie smiled bigger. "Oh so we're teammates!? Awesome!!" She looked excited. "I'm making so many friends so fast." She looked thoughtful. "So..why is a princess traveling?"

''So why do you expect i was following you?'' He inquired. As much as he never bothered to question his orders, he was curious now. It wasnt every day his superior tried to boot out a member of another royal family. He was wondering what type of people these were.

She considered the possible repercussions of the accusations she was about to make. Turns out she just didn't care. "I suspected you had orders to keep tabs on me. The council is powerful, but someone such as myself could cause trouble." She took another bite of her food. "Especially considering libertatem would reject sanctuary for one of their closest allies. You don't find that the slightest bit odd?"

''No more than a princess starting a drunken brawl.'' He tilted his head to one side, looking at her, irritated at the mask that kept him from reading her expression. He took another bite of egg and his mustache twitched furiously as he chewed. ''But setting that aside, the council's first priority is that of the citizens of libertatem, not the drunken royal family of another country. They have to consider the repercussions that might come if whoever destroyed arivargus next turns their attentions to Libertatem. War set upon another country isn't always a reason to join in. Sometimes, its more of an example why you shouldn't get involved.''

"Whether it's a show of loyalty to the citizens or cowardice to support their allies, it's not my place to judge. I'm but a piece in the larger scheme of things. As are you." She polished off the remainder of her food before standing up. "Ersken I think. Despite the best intentions, the blind following the blind is a recipe for disaster." The mask on her face flickered for a moment, revealing a the smallest hint of a smile. She slipped the same mask over the first she was 'wearing'.

Ersken laughed. ''the blind following the blind is better than the blind striking out on their own.'' He finished the rest of the food himself, but made no move to stand. ''At least then you know when the man in the lead steps off the cliff.'' he gave her a small wave of farewell.

Charlotte shrugged. "That's a good way of seeing it." She dropped a few coins on the table for her meal and gave him a nod. "I can't imagine this is the last time I'll be seeing you, so until then." With that, she strode away.

[Nobody]

"That, I don't really know." Ezra shrugged. "Charlotte dragged me out here for some 'grand purpose'," he said, managing to simulate a masked expression.

[Tetra]

"Oh cool."she smiled."who's Charlotte?"She Giggled at his expression, then turned to look for Alaric.

[Nobody]

He sat at the foot of Azrael's giant statue, a prayer for guidance silently playing across his lips.

[Tetra]

"I'll be back."she walked over to Alaric. "Hey buddy...you doing okay? Thanks for coming to save me and pretty boy."

[Nobody]

"I know concern is not exactly your forte, but what happened here stands against everything I believe in. But you are welcome, it was no trouble."

[Tetra]

"....well..."she hugged him. "It's gonna be okay! We're all friends and we're here for you." She turned towards ezras location. "Huh pretty boy?!"

"Yeah man. Same'd go for Adminius, if he were here." Ezra grinned broadly.

"See! And of course the gods are there. You don't have to pray for that." She smiled, hugging him. " you understand?"
