She just nodded, still staring blankly at it. After a few moments, her expression momentarily brightened. "Oh, Vulcan. That's right. I need a new sword."

"You're too hurt. I'm sorry, but yer useless right now, Justitia. Ye can't walk. Yer arm is no good, I might have t' fix that too! Shira is goin' t' buy us time, but you need to heal. And even then, 't'll be years b'fore ye can fight anywhere near what ye could before. Ye need time to heal." He looked at Morrigan. "Help me out here, ye know I'm no good wi'words."

Morrigan slumped back in a chair. "I'm afraid bluntly is the only way to put it. Wether Seth succeeds or not, you can't be part of the fight any longer. I'm sorry Justitia, but you'll have to leave the rest up to is."

Morrigan nodded, standing up. "As you wish." Before she left the room, she turned back to Justitia. "Please don't do anything rash. I know how you're feeling right now, but please." She turned and continued out.

Seth looked to the frail elderly council members. "You have served me well, and you will not go unrewarded." He looked to the guardsmen, his gaze falling on Alexander. "And you, brave warriors? Would you serve me?"

Alexander avoided looking directly at him. "My loyalty lies with Libertatem and the best interests of the people. I will do what I must."

"I can appreciate a man putting his people before himself. I'll take that for a yes, for now." Seth looked up and grimaced. He recognized the two sources of energy flying away.
