He turned back to the bag and started striking it. His blows shifted from the methodical strikes of a warm up to the savage blows of a man lost to his anger. The seams of the bag popped and it tore in half. Azrael stood there for a moment, eyes closed. He breathed in through his nose and out through his mouth and turned to the two of them. "I want you to tell me exactly what happened, Symphonia."

Azrael sat at his place around the table of the Gods. "Seth is rallying. I thought that exiling Alaric would let us stall him, but if anything Seth is working over time now."

He leaned back, Inritus sitting in it's sheath on the pillar behind him.

[Tetra]

Symphonia nodded. "And now, Justitia has lost her chosen. We cannot jusT stand by anymore."

[Nobody]

Vulcan scratched at his beard. "Aye bu' what can we do? He's on th' other sida the door an' I'm not goin' to him. You all remember th' las' time we had to force'm through. Th' damn thing was open so long tha' demons tore up a whole country!"

Justitia sat silently, with shock keeping her mouth shut. Seth was making his move and Adminius was dead. What was she supposed to say?

Since the two had left Arviragus, the ride had been entirely silent. Slowly they were joined by the several other guards, all silently wondering why the maid was tagging along. Of course, what the captain did was his own business, including pulling the entire regiment out of Arviragus at a moments notice for no discernible reason. in fact, aside from Charlotte and Alexander, nobody else knew the reason for this sudden return to Libertatem and Charlotte wasn't in a sharing kind of mood.
The widn blew against her face as she rode just near the center of the group, a scowl on her face. It was almost freeing, aside from the vision she had just received, wether from Antevorta, Justitia, or her own abilities. Adminius was dead. She watched as the world around her began to fade. She found herself in darkness, standing before Antevorta.
Without a second of hesitation, she looked up at her and spoke. "Adminius is dead." Antevorta's surprise was answer enough, though it wasn't a question. "And you knew it was coming."
She nodded. "I did. Some things must come to pass."
"I know. Is Aeronwen dead?"
"Yes but how did you-"
"I could see it. I don't know how, but when it happened...." Charlotte looked down. "Are you here to tell what I already know or is there something else."
"I'm lifting the veil on Alaric. I thought you should know."
"Are you not going to tell me anything else?" She simply shook her head. "Fine, keep your secrets. You can't hide everything from me. I'll figure it out soon enough."
"You'll understand my reasons when you do. I must speak with my brothers and sisters now." With that, she shimmered away and Charlotte found herself, several moments after she blacked out, still riding her horse.

Antevorta silently appeared at the table, her hands folded in front of her as if this were a routine meeting.

[Tetra]

Symphonia looked thoughtful. "No, I think we need to help Alaric. I chose correctly with Evie. She seems to be helping him against darkness." She played with a strand of hair as she thought. "And wait. That's all we can do."

[Nobody]

Azrael looked at her sternly. "I'm afraid I don't follow, Symphonia. If your Chosen were to be assisting Alaric in any way, that would mean he was back. Which isn't possible. So you must be confused after the death of Justitia's Chosen." He kept his gaze leveled on her for a moment before turning to Antevorta. "Well?"

[sunter]

She let out a sigh. "Alaric Tepes has returned, though the how and when I do not know. On top of that, he is in Arviragus, as Symphonia has correctly observed."

[Nobody]

He closed his eyes. "And why did you fail to mention this?"

[Tetra]

Symphonia shook her head. "I wasn't sure myself. But I also jusT found out"

[sunter]

"You overestimate my abilities. Much like Symphonia, I have only just become aware of his return. Seth is far more powerful than I."

[Nobody]

He leveled his gaze on her for a moment. "...I believe you. But how did he get back then? If Seth could travel between the two planes he would have by now."

[sunter]

"I do not believe he is working alone. The veil has been ruptured and something big is coming. Not just Seth. Symphonia, you can feel it, I'm sure you can. There's a war coming."

"War?" Justitia finally spoke. "What do you mean, war?

[Tetra]

Symphonia nodded, yes I have, that's what lead me to stopping Ezra and Adminius fight. I decided to take a venture." She looked down, feeling responsible.
