Adminius glanced at her, returning his hand to his side. The pain finally started to make itself known, as he recalled that he took more punches to the chest than he cared to remember. He turned back to Ezra, something other than anger reflecting in his eyes.

"Do not worry young Ezra, you were fighting to protect your loved ones. I understand, but do not approve of those actions." She turned to Adminius, clearly unhappy with him, waiting for his apology.

Adminius took a deep breath. He wanted to say something, but Ezra wouldnt listen. None of them would. With a shake of the head, he turned and started to walk away. The wall of fire dropped, showing the everyone else had already left. Before Adminius got too far, however, shadows raced towards him along the ground and walls. They merged right behind him, taking shape as Aeronwen. Time seemed to slow as Adminius glanced behind him. The last thing he saw before he felt the pitch black blade pierced his chest was the maniacal glare in the depths of her black eyes.

Symphonia watched him walk away, a bit peeved then shocked as she watched him get impaled. Instantly, she found her sword at the woman's throat, the blade vibrating softly, giving off a lovely ringing sound that warded evil. Aeronwens throat burned by just being near such a pure weapon. "You dare do such a thing in my presence!"

Aeronwen glanced back at her, a wicked smile on her face. Shadows stretched out of Caen and swirled as she opened her mouth to speak. "The burning... Ever since his return, the burning... It hasn't stopped... The atrocities he's committed... Everyone is just getting in my way! He must die! And I'll get rid of any obstacles in my way!"

Symphonias face didn't change, she moved so quickly that the sound of her sword seemed everywhere, cutting through the shadows and ending at her throat again. "You may be strong, but you are no God. It seems there is no saving you, and for the sake of my dear sister, I shall avenge her chosen. Last words?"

The shadows that stretched out of Caen yanked Symphonia's limbs away and Aeronwen turned to her, her eyes wide. "Remove all... Obstacles." She yanked the pitch black sword out of her son's body and readied it as shadows began to swirl around her. She released Symphonia and laughed.

Symphonia rolled her eyes, seemed not to move inbetween being let go and having her sword stab through the crazy woman, light flowing through her body. "There was indeed no saving you."

She coughed and glared at Symphonia. She tried to move one of her arms, but a wave of weakness began to spread throughout her body. "You all... Are who can't... Be saved..."

Symphonia drew her blade from the woman, flicking the blood on the ground before kneeling by adminius. "Can you hear my voice child."

She propped his head on her lap. "Stay with me." She called out, voice resonating even to the gods. "Bring me the queen!!" She looked back down at the king. "I can hear the song of your heart. It should last long enough."

"I just... I wanted to... To prot-... Protect everyone." He struggled to get each word out as his vision started to fade to black. The last thing he remembered seeing before his vision faded entirely was a bright flash of light. The rest was a haze of shouts by a couple of voices that he couldn't make out. His eyelids began to feel heavy. He could barely feel a thing as he took a labored breath. It was over. Everything. He'd screwed up and now he was going to die hated by his friends. He had to keep his eyes open. Just long enough to apologize. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out as his eyes finally closed themselves, and everything was gone.

Justitia appeared, her eyes wide with panic. "Symphonia! What the hell is happening to-?!" She stopped when she saw her chosen in her lap. She shook her head, words failing her.
Aoife ran down the hall with guards ahead of her, weapons raised. She stopped when she saw Adminius. "A-... Adminius...?"

Symphonia heard his silent words and looked up at justitia. " I'm so sorry sister. It was so sudden....I avenged him..but...." She looked around eyes meeting aoifes. "He said he was sorry."
