"There's no reasoning with him right now Evie." Charlotte said, cold and calmly. She walked past everybody, The Librarian still in hand. Before closing the door behind her, she looked back at the group. "You know, Alaric might not be the only one being driven mad." On the other side of the door, Charlotte found Alexander waiting for her.
"We need to talk." Without another word, he grabbed her arm and led her to the castle gardens.

Adminius stared at his throne, tears forming in his eyes. What was happening to him? He hadn't been himself. It wasn't like him to lose hope. And yet... There was no way doing anything. Seth was in a world they had no way of reaching, making saving Alaric impossible. Aoife had listened to him every night since his return, trying to help, but even still... If there was one person he felt he needed to fix things with it was...
